Meet the Maker & the Brand
I founded Mac Warman to create bold, unique jewelry that marries English equine influence with Western Americana—jewelry that just as much reflects my life as it is inspired by it. My Southern upbringing was flecked with the influence of familial ties to the U.K. Further, a born-and-raised horse girl, I grew up riding mostly in the English style despite being located in a Western-style horse community. After highschool, I moved west, calling Texas home for 8 years, during which time I gained a deeper appreciation for Western Americana and found its bold flare impactful on the development of my personal style. Now, having moved even further west and steeping in the rugged beauty of Colorado, I find myself inspired all over again by the beauty of the West.
At Mac Warman, we take pride in the workmanship and materials used to craft our items. All materials are sourced with careful design and consideration before being crafted into our unique, memorable pieces by hand at our studio in Denver, Colorado.
Good Bull Bangles
Good Bull Bangles were born out of Mac’s love for stacking jewelry and a saying from her alma mater, the classic Aggie saying of “Good Bull,” which means an embodiment of the Texas A&M Aggie Spirit. When you purchase a Good Bull Bangle, you’re making a positive impact—15% of the proceeds from your purchase is donated to the charity highlighted that quarter—now that’s Good Bull. Each bangle is, indeed, a brass bull ring which has been hand-stamped with a saying—you choose from our sayings or customize your own. The bangle includes a flat head screw wth an allen wrench and is tucked into our microfiber pouch for safekeeping along with a certificate of authenticity.
Our Materials
Horse Brass Medallion Necklaces
Our signature horse brass medallion necklaces are handcrafted with vintage horses brasses, raw brass chain, and raw brass finishings; some necklaces incorporate silk sari fabric as well. We restore the vintage horse brasses before embracing the individuality of each medallion with a carefully paired raw brass chain that enhances the medallion’s symbol, size, and patina. Each piece is finished with a raw brass clasp and raw brass tag bearing our signature M.W. for authenticity then tucked inside our microfiber pouch for safekeeping along with a certificate of authenticity.
FAQs
-
Our medallion necklaces are made with vintage brass medallions that are individually sourced from around the world before they are crafted with handpicked raw brass chain and hardware in our Denver workshop. This means that each medallion necklace is an individual one-of-a-kind piece, with no two medallion necklaces being exactly alike. So once that necklace is sold, it’s gone for good. However, we are constantly musing over here, so check back frequently for new pieces in the shop!

All of our Good Bull Bangles are hand-stamped in our Denver workshop. The custom Good Bull Bangles are made to order and thus, take a little while longer. However, if time is of the essence, we have a limited stock of handstamped Good Bull Bangles with pre-selected phrases.

It depends on several factors, including skin type, storage of your jewelry, regular cleaning and polishing, duration of wearing, etc. Brass may go through oxidation, in which the skin in contact with the brass metal turns a slight green. Oxidation—and any green—is a harmless and natural side effect of wearing metal jewelry, and happens because alloy metals, including bronze, silver, and non-24k-gold contain copper, which give the materials the strength to be turned into things such as horse brasses and jewelry. Storing your jewelry in our pouches and regularly cleaning your jewelry will help with an oxidation.
